The Necklet Grande, is our version of a piece of jewelry with quite an interesting history. The choker necklace, or “dog collar” has gone back as far as ancient Egypt, but most notably became popular during the French Revolution. Queen Alexandra of the United Kingdom wore a custom choker to hide a scar from thyroid surgery during the Victorian era. Chokers we’re again revived in the 70’s by rockstar men, and in 90’s fashion to create the London punk style vibe. Most notably it’s symbolism has been used by women to show strength and resiliency throughout tumultuous times in history.

MATERIALS
• All natural saddle leather
• Rivets and button closure in silver or gunmetal

MEASUREMENTS
• 1 inch wide choker
• For size: Measure the diameter of your neck in the middle neck area, have tape-measure taut but not tight. If neck measurement falls between sizes listed, always size-up.
